They’re doing a sequel to the first high rated KBS drama and now instead of casting everyone from JYP, they’ll be throwing in some SM kids into it as well! Yes, it’s a JYP and SM collaboration!
SM and JYP have always been close to each other since some of their kids are dating each other.lol.
Anyway, I think it’s gonna be better than the last one this time. Dream High was filled with awkward acting that I can hardly watch through it. I only watch for Eunjung, to be honest.
My bet this time is one of the soshi kids gonna be in it since netizens have been voting for them to join the cast. If they’re not too busy, or if SM can squeeze in shooting in their busy schedule which is more likely, one of them gonna join the cast and let’s watch the rating shooting up the sky.
At times like this, it’s fun to guess the potential cast. Taeyeon is perfect for this because of her flawless voice, but Yoona is a better actress. /shrugs idk.
Put Taecyeon and Jessica and people will be raging mad.
I remembered my Mechanics lecturer once gave us 3 questions a week before a test. We asked him if it’s the questions that’s gonna come up, but he denied it strongly. But guess what questions come up in the test?
That 3 questions. And I was stupid for believing him.
Secondly is ‘Time Machine’.
I like this kind of song. The melody sort of giving the listeners a goosebumps. Pairing this with the ladies’ voices, it could be my future fave track.
Lastly is ‘Let It Rain’.
I reckon it’s the Korean version of a track from their Japanese album with the same name. This song is not bad, though I would prefer they cover ‘Born To Be A Lady’ instead.
Yeah, looks like SM will spent their cash on foreign songs again though I find there’s nothing wrong with it. Growing up I was a fan of european and British pop so I guess I’ll love their 3rd album as well.
Still I do hope SM would let some Korean songwriters compose songs as their lead singles. There’s nothing better than a good kpop song composed by Korean themselves. Their biggest ever song, Gee was composed by Koreans. They shouldn’t underestimate their fellow Koreans talent.
As much as I love Lee Minho, I so approve of this couple! Yoona’s Eider partner is dating Jessica’s favorite unnie. I can’t find a reason not to ship them.
When I look at how good looking Minho is, I can only hope he’ll met someone as good looking as him.lol. Minyoung is very beautiful and such a great actress. Though I thought she looked great with Yoochun in SKKS too.
Although they are in the phase of getting to know each other, I hope they will move on to the next phase soon. If I were Minyoung, I’ll skip all the dating phase and go straight to what matters most… hahaha. xDDDD
I mean, it’s Lee freaking Minho we’re talking about here!
Can you just imagine how I felt when the first rumor broke out? I cried for days and fell sick..
Lol, okay it’s not that bad. Maybe because I’m a girl and an unnie fan I wasn’t really affected by the news. The first rumor started when someone spotted them together at the cinema.
At first I was having a hard time to swallow it. Taecyeon? Out of many men in the world, Jessica’s choice is that beast looking guy from 2PM, Taecyeon?
But then after thinking about it for a while it does make sense why they’re attracted to each other.
Jessica always wants the best and Taecyeon kinda fit the bill..
English fluency – check
Hot sexy body – check
One of the most wanted Korean bachelor – check
Make a lot of money – check
Handsome looks – check
Seriously, if I were Jessica and have that kind of guy liking me, I wouldn’t say no. xD
And honestly, Jessica seems happier these days. Not just her usual smile but there’s something sparkling in her eyes as well. Maybe..she’s in love.
Taec may look like a beast, lol, but maybe underneath all that is a sweet and romantic guy who would do anything for his princess. And I remembered this one interview when he was asked if her ideal woman must be a good cook since he likes to eat, and he replied no.
He would rather cook for her instead. ❤
Jessica! I want a guy like Taec!!
/sigh. Thinking that I used to date a guy who look like Taec, why did I let him go away?
Like I said to Hara and Junhyung, good luck.
And Jessica, I will always be your faithful unnie fan no matter what you do or who you date. It's a promise.
Well, unless you Er..turned gangsta and join a weird cult and kill people..
When you look up for this group name on google, you’ll mostly be directed to pictures of a bunch of Malay kpop idols wannabe with hate pages and bashing comments underneath.
They are the so-called first kpop mpop (wtf) boy group in Malaysia. But why are they receiving so much hate from their own fellow malaysians? They would wonder. /sigh
So here I am, sharing my own two cents as to why us, Malaysians kpop fans can’t accept them into the music scene.
1. They don’t understand kpop.
It’s not that we hate them because they’re trying to imitate our idols, because we do cheer on our fellow kpop dance groups in competitions (like Ruffneckz, Progression, Re-do and others). It’s just because they don’t understand kpop itself.
They’re like a failed carbon copy of Super Junior. SJ has 13 members, they have 12 members. SJ sings and dance to cheesy songs, and they do the same. Just worse.
2. They don’t have enough training.
All kpop idols have gone through years of training before debuting. They trained for 5 years, 7 years before they finally able to stand on stage and pour out their years of hardship. That’s why they have such stellar performances, crisp and energetic dances, outstanding vocals, overflowing charisma and lastly their admirable professionalism and discipline.
Judging from what I’ve watched in their MV, they have nothing as I mentioned above. Poor performance, lousy dance, a bunch of cheap auto tune and zero charisma.
3. Their song belongs in the bin.
Their debut song, Cinta 247 sounds like Rebecca Black’s sequel to Friday. It’s just badly produced. The arrangement sound like they recorded it in a room, and the beat is just all over the place. The lyrics is cheesy and I don’t understand with the obsession to count days in songs.
What they failed to realize is that kpop is so much more than that. Even for groups that are not from the big 3 like B1A4 or Secret, they all have step up their game to get ahead. They have their own producers and songwriters who came up with one hits after another.
E-Tribe, Sweettune, Shinsadong Tiger, Kenzie, Hwang Hyun and Teddy are just some of korean talented composers. And nowadays, a lot of idols are songwriting like GD and Junhyung.
So tell us how can we listen to something like that when we’re used to high quality music?
4. Lame choreo is lame.
Seriously. I don’t get it. I think there are a lot of talented choreographers in Malaysia, why can’t they hire them? Their dance moves is like morning aerobics and that’s how you want to impress kpop fans with? /sigh.
I’ve watched B2ST final dance competition where the groups were to create their own choreography for the song Freeze and boy I was impressed. It’s fun and creative and it makes you want to root for them.
5. WTF are you wearing?
The problem is that they think kpop is all about guys wearing either all black or all white with heavily gelled hair.
Kpop is fashion. Kpop is style and trendsetters. No kpop idols dressed in cheap leather like them anymore. Look at SuJu and their ubersexual fashion for Mr. Simple.
Beat that then we’re talking.
6. They don’t pay attention to MV.
The video is just badly produced. It looks like a parody of a bunch of kpop MV put together. Their video is nothing like we’ve seen before.
Fake fangirls screaming, the guys exited the van dressed in white, and then theres a guy acting like a pimp as an mc of their party. And then he announced 12 handsome guys first concert.
WTH? Concert? No one ever debuted and went straight to do a concert. At least they do showcase first. There’s a clear difference between the two.
And then on to the video. There’s no stage or concert, just them dancing in what looks like an empty room with white walls. And then there’s clips of the members with multiracial women and singing to them. I just..don’t get what it’s about.lol.
The video has no relation to the song lyrics or the ‘concert’ intro earlier. What in the world?
A good video doesn’t have to be expensive since I understand that their group doesn’t have enough funds, but the least thing they could do is to be creative.
Or be original.
Conclusion:
I’m not being negative and bash them without reason. I support our local music acts like Yuna and Bunkface. I’m just stating the truth.
If they want to succeed, then do this thing seriously. Find a good original song, wear something more stylish but not pretentious, improve their dance moves, hire a proper choreographer, do extensive vocal training and shoot a much better MV. And yeah, I would say the same thing to local girlgroup Gula-Gula.
Kpop fans in general are used to perfection. We expect better original songs, unique concept and high class MV each time our idols making comeback. Sometimes we would criticize our own beloved kpop idols if they sing crappy song and releases lame MVs.
Expecting us to listen and like something like this is simply..impossible.
Woah, I seriously never thought there’ll be a day when a large kpop concert with multiple acts will be held in Malaysia. I mean, they always go to Thailand and Singapore but never Malaysia. I was hoping back then, but after having my hope crushed a few times, I just gave up. Lol.
But this! Since it’s coming from the same organizer as the SG KMV, i can’t help but keep my hopes up for my fave idols to come.
There’s been countless of rumors about who’s coming but they’re all just groundless talk.
Theres a fellow sone on Twitter said that the group that will come are probably from:
Others should be Kara, T-Ara, Infinite, MBLAQ, B1A4, After School.
I’d be perfect. If it’s true then I wouldn’t know what to do. >.<
But get real. As much as I want SNSD to come, SM is too busy sending them to other part of the world where they can get more profit./sigh. Plus I've already decided to go to SG to watch them live for their 2nd Concert next year.
The list is probably like this..
SM – f(x) or SHInee
YG – Someone from Big Bang or Seven
JYP – Miss A
Cube – B2ST & 4Minute (love them for their frequent visits!)
Others..HITT, hmm Rania, Teen Top? Idk, some new bands that I don't even know?
But let's hope my second list is wrong. And my dream list is the real one.:)
All I can do is pray for my wish to come true. It’ll be the perfect present for my birthday. 😉
I had mixed reactions when I first found out about them.
I was shocked, I read the title a few times to make sure it was just a CF or something like that. But when I read through the article, I soon found out that it was real.
They are real.
Hara is my favourite in KARA and it does make me worry a little. I really hope she met a nice guy, who can take care of her and be there for her. And when I found out it was Junhyung, I felt relieved. Though I don’t much about him, since I just recently became a B2ST fan, he seems like a nice guy. And pretty good looking too. Lol. I act like a concern unnie. xD
What really made me relieved is how happy Hara looked in the pictures. I can’t help but smile, watching her smile. And that’s when I know she’s really into this guy. And it explains why she looks so bright these past few weeks. You know how people said that when someone is in love, they glows? xD
Some fans are hoping its fake and some thinks it’s real. As for me, I think it’s pretty legit.
No matter how I think about it, KARA/DSP has no reason to create a scandal at times like this. If this is staged, it will only bring more damage to them. Because:
1. KARA’s new Japanese single will be released tomorrow. Yes, a scandal a day before could raise the sales, but could also destroy it completely. Are DSP willing to take such risk? Especially when they just starting to build KARA’s image again?
2. KARA barely survived their first controversy. Do they really need another controversy for attention?
3. Hara is the most popular member. She has more fans in Japan than any other female kpop idols (based on their Japan fancafe). I don’t think announcing their idol is taken is going to add more fans.
If this really is an experimental marketing technique that DSP pull then I really have nothing to say. There’s way too much risk. It’s stupid, from a business point of view.
But then, who knows. /shrugs
But at the back of my romantic mind, /chuckles
I think these two are dating. Knowing how honest Hara is, it’s really something that Hara will do. She once boldly admitted her surgeries to the whole world, and has no fears doing anything she wants. I think if she really like someone, she’s not afraid to show him to the world either.
And that’s an admirable thing to do.
..also foolish.
And I just want to share this post by a Kamilia (myhoneyclaire) who happens to be a huge Hara fan I found on Karaholic. It’s really sweet.
tbh, i feel so happy for these two.
the entertainment industry is so difficult and having someone special there with you just makes it even more special and easier. by being public, they can get through hardships together easier and it’ll be easier for their love to last once the public “approves” of the couple.
i keep on hearing “i dont like her” or “i dont like him” or “WHYYYY??!J KLSDJ FKLSDFJ”…
this type of stuff which is totally understandable
but i really hope people will get over it and understand that no you probably will NOT marry or even have a chance to date EITHER of them so feel happy for them because if you are a true fan, you will feel happy for them.
another thing is that i hear people say that “oh they’ll probably break up soon” and i hate hearing that.
each couple is different. they shouldn’t be compared to jonghyun and shin sekyung nor should they be compared to se7en and park hanbyul. each couple will have their own love story and their own chance at the game of love. they shouldn’t be compared to anyone. sure it doesnt hurt to compare a little but saying that they’ll break up soon just because jonghyun and sekyung broke up so soon just doesnt cut it for me.
not to mention, if they were confident enough to bring this relationship to public, that means that they want this relationship to last and they want their fans, some of the most important people to them, to be able to accept their relationship. it means that they trust their fans enough to bring this to public. kpop nowadays and kpop back then is a lot different.
2nd generation kpop idols couldn’t even be within one meter or talk to the opposite sex without being bashed on (im exaggerating a bit but u know what i mean) and now kpop loves making celebrity couples.
kpop has come a long way and hopefully this will be the start of kpop actually being normal and not having celebrities hide relationships.
lastly, i think we all remember when kara appeared on taxi and hara was crying a little and saying how her heart feels lonely. after all that hara and the girls have gone through, im glad that she has found someone who picked her up when she felt the lowest and was about to help her through her darkest times. junhyung is an awesome guy whom i love dearly and i love hara to death. i never thought of them dating but from what i know about each of them, i know that they’ll be good to each other. when i saw that taxi episode of hara crying and saying that she felt lonely, i just wanted someone to be there for her and to stand by her. not just the girls but someone else there for her and im glad that junhyung can now be there for her.
even though since im a girl i should love junhyung more than hara, i love hara more than junhyung and i can say this as a hara fan and as a girl. every girl wants that happy ending with that someone special and hara has been deprived of happy endings and good things for so long that she really deserves this. hara looks REALLY happy in those pictures. like its not that many pictures where we can see her face but out of those, she has that smile. that hara smile when shes happy.
after all the years of hardships and pain, hara has gotten her happiness and i just hope that people can be open-minded and help hara keep that happiness ♥
I’m actually surprised most Kamilia there are very calm about this news. Kudos to them for being a mature fandom. (:
Though there are quite a number of heartbroken Harawotas..
Anyway, I love you both dearly and I hope you will prove people wrong and stay strong together. He’s a good catch, so Hara, you go girl!
